that any of the activities that I participate in as a member of the Fairbanks
Area Hiking Club may involve risks, including but not limited to the hazards of
traveling outdoors, weather and other forces of nature, accident, and
illness. In consideration for the right
to participate in Fairbanks Area Hiking Club activities I do freely and
voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities. I for myself, my heirs, and executors forever
waive, release and discharge any and all rights, demands, or claims for damage
I may have against the Fairbanks Area Hiking Club or its members for any and
all injuries or losses resulting from my activities with the club. I will personally accept the risks for each
activity and will participate only if my skills, physical condition and
equipment are adequate to safely meet those risks.
